It Snowed!

Yay! Last night we got a huge amount of snow, was suppossed to be the biggest snow storm that we have seen in a long time.....our area was changed from 4-6 to like 6-10 and we only got maybe 5 if that. Tonights temp will be 0 and this "snow" is more of a rain snow so the snow is really really heavy. Which means it will all be ice by the morning, not thrilled considering I have about a 20 min drive to work.

I was really pumped to take Donovan out in the snow tonight but I really don't want to roll around in wetness and have to come in 10 minutes after we go out, so I'll opt for a movie night inside :)

Opted for fun instead and I'm glad that I did!!

This Past Weekend 12/4-12/6

Thank goodness for this weekend, I needed a little break. So Friday, we didn't do to much, cleaned up our apartment, wrapped a couple more presents and then we watched a movie, that was it. Woke up on Saturday pretty early, got ready, made the boys a huge breakfast and went over to my Grandma's house. It was her 78th birthday on the 3rd of December so Donovan and I went and gave her her birthday present. It was a sweatshirt with a big picture of Dono on the front of it, now this being her first great grandchild, she was thrilled, she loves him so much, it is so adorable. Everytime they see eachother they play fight and I always think he is gonna bop her one, so I have to watch him, she is so little and he is getting so strong, he could def take her out.

Then my mom came over there and she brought her her present too, my mom got her a Packer Knom, hilarious, it is a solar powered one. So we stayed there for a bit and then Dono and I went to Target to get his St. Nick presents, I got him a couple MatchBox cars, a new Thomas the Train DVD, a bunch of candy and then I ordered these really neat Crayons from LTD a couple weeks back. He loves them, he colors with them really nice and has been stacking them and counting them since I gave them to him. Great buy!

So when we got home on Saturday I made Pizzelles, which is an Italian cookie made in a machine that kind of looks like a waffle machine.

They turned out awesome being my first time making them and actually pulling out my machine I got last year for Xmas. Donovan and Erik both loved them and I brought them to work. Next weekend I think I am going to make the Hersey Kisses cookies, my mom really wants some. So Erik got home around 7ish on Saturday and we all cuddled and watched a movie, I can't rememebr which one we watched though.....drawing a blank.

Sunday I woke up first, cleaned up a little bit, my kitchen was a disaster, woke Dono up and then daddy, let Dono open up his present and his stocking and then made some breakfast. Dono and I went over to my Mom's house around 2, went to the grocery store, went back to her house, watched some shows and ate some lunch. Nothing like hot ham and rolls, BLT pasta salad and some coleslaw, THE BEST! Then she had us stay for dinner, she made a Pork Roast, OMG it was so delicious, after dinner we watched a bit of a movie, Dono was super tired so we went home by daddy. He was excited to see us, then I went online to play a bit of Farkle, I'm totally addicted and then we had Dono lay down while Erik and myself watched a movie, which I passed out like 20 minutes in. So that was our weekend, the next couple are going to be crazy, all the way till after the New Year.

I Lost my Blog and Now I'm Back

So I started my blog in February and after getting extremely busy I forgot all about it until I was on BzzAgent and it sent me a survey about Blogs. I had to enter my URL for my blog and couldn't find it for the life of me. Ugh it was so frustrating but today I found it again and I'm back full force, I will be blogging everyday about life at home, life at work, life outside of work and projects I am doing with my son Donovan who the last time I wrote had just turned 2 and in about a month he is already going to be 3! Tells you how long I forgot about this blog for! WOW
