October

Lets see, October was a really busy month for us, not only did I have to deal with all of my dad's stuff but we were getting ready for Halloween!! There's so many fun activities to do around here during that time!

First, football season has begun, obviously last month but I never got to take pictures of my Packer fan!!

Every year for Halloween, mom gets Dono his halloween costume, after much debate, he wanted to be Spiderman. So when his costume came in, we had to go over there and take some pictures.

Next I'm putting a picture of what my dad's head looked like after they took out the left bone flap.

When we got home that night after visiting my dad, Dono wanted to take more silly pictures.

The next weekend, we decided to carve pumpkins at home, I went and picked up a couple of pumpkins at the grocery store and we carved them at home, we do it every year and then make pumpkin seeds. YUMMY!!

We then went over to my mom's house to see the dog she went and adopted, it's been so long I can't even remember her name but that night, the dog bit Gem, which is her other dog so the next day they took her back to the humane society. They didn't want a vicious pitbull and that dog needed to be the only dog in the household. Plus the whole time we were there the dog was trying to get at Stu, the ginea pig and eat her.

Then Dono was pretending to drive my car!!

The next weekend, my mom, Brett, Dono and I went to the pumpkin farm, while Erik played in a tournament. Dono got to rid the "train", pick out pumpkins, feed the goats and go on the ponies. We had such a good time.

After that we picked out the pumpkins we wanted to take home, Dono picked out about 10 but we only took about 5 or 6 home.

Then since he was being such a good boy all day, I let him go on a pony ride, his favorite!

The weekend after the pumpkin farm, we went back over to my mom's to carve pumpkins with them. We painted 2 of the pumpkins, well I did, Dono told me what to paint.

Then later that night, Dono stayed at my mom's and Erik and I went out to hang out with his softball friends.

The next day, my mom went to IL to get her new puppy, they named her Ruby. Dono and I went over there to meet her, she is so tiny and loving!! Prettiest little pup.

The next weekend it was Halloween. Erik, Dono, myself, Erik's sister Jess and her 2 kids, Brittney and Lily all went trick o treating in Greendale during the day. We let the kids run wild up to peoples houses, we stayed by the wagon, sipping out glasses of wine, snapping away on our cameras. The kids had a blast, we stayed out for about 3 hours.

Then we all stopped over at grandma Jill's house to show off the kids costumes and snap some more pictures. Then the kids played in the sandbox for a bit before we left.

After that, I took Dono and Lily home, let them relax for a bit, got them some dinner. Then we went to Nora's house to do some trick o treating around her neighborhood. They have nighttime trick o treating, the kids had a blast, we didn't stay out to long, because they started to get cold. Then we took Lily butts home!

September.....Another Rollercoaster ahead

So it's September....time for me to start thinking about Christmas and the entire month of December as a whole considering that month is packed full of birthdays, Xmas and things that make me spend a shit ton of money.

I didn't take that many pictures this month, the reason will be explained below. I had my hands completely full this month and thru October!!

To start off the month, Erik took Dono over to his mom's to ride his new bike and to hang out with grandma Jill, or Erik's mom :)

 











Then Dono had his favorite activity of all......BATH TIME!!!! He is getting used to baths, he used to love them, then he hated them, then he loved them. It's a love hate relationship!

That next weekend, we pretty much bummed around, Dono wore daddy's t-shirt and him and I just took funny silly pictures!

My silly little man!! He loved taking pictures of himself standing in the mirror posing funny!! I'll do anything that will make him smile or giggle!!!

The reason I didn't take many pictures this month was because my dad was in a motorcycle accident, a really bad one. I was at the hospital with him everyday for about a week then every night after work. I created a journal of our time there, which I will post next. Here are a couple of pictuers of what he looked like.

I signed up for the CG NatureLuxe Foundation/Lipstick Campaign!!

I got my bzzkit in the mail on Saturday, after lounging around all day it was time for me to go to the grocery store so I had to put my face on. I figured that I'd give the NatureLuxe sample I received a try, if I didn't like it, I was only going to the grocery store, so no biggy. WOW, I was completely surprised!! I absolutely loved it, it felt super silky going on, had an amazing smell to it, unlike my previous brand, whom I've been wearing it since the day it came out in stores. Then I tried the lipstick that came with my kit as well, it looked amazing. I am forever a fan!!! I've always had dry skin, so trying this product, I figured it would be like all the other brands and I'd have flakey looking skin, I was wrong about that too. I will def be buying more of this when my sample runs out. I loved the color of the lipstick too, went great with my skin.

CoverGirl 50th Anniversary Party

I've been an avid user of CoverGirl products since 6th grade when I started wearing little bits of makeup. I love the brand, I love the different variety of colors in the lipshades and eyeshadows that they have. I've never not liked anything that I've tried from there. Currently I use....
