December

It's December, gosh this year has flown by! Almost 2011

This month started off with Dono wanted to paint all the time, I have no problem with that considering I paint all the time too. Guess he was just trying to be like his mama.

Here is Mr. FiddleStix sitting on our TV stand!! That's where he was sitting the morning of the 1st, waiting for Dono. He brought with him paint and painting books for Dono.

I also do an advent calendar every year, I made one last year and everyday Dono gets to take a treat out of whichever number day it is.

Here is December 1st, he was super excited about it this year, more so than last year.

After getting his special treat, him and daddy decided it was time to wrestle! Silly boys!!!

The next morning, Mr. FiddleStix was waiting for Dono on our bed, with a special treat, his favorite.....M & Ms.

And when we got home that night, Mr. FiddleStix was sitting in our palm tree....what a goofy elf.

December 2nd, Dono getting his special treat from the Advent calendar!

The morning of the 3rd, I woke up first to find someone had used our bathroom over night....I couldn't believe what a mess he made!!!

He left Dono such a nice little note! That night I forgot to take pics with his advent calendar, couple days later we took pics of all the days we missed. Was a busy week!!

The next morning, Dono woke up to Mr. FiddleStix using his paints! Dono was excited to start painting right away along side him!!

After we painted for a bit, Dono wanted to start building with his blocks, we had a great time. Then he wanted me to take pics and show it off. HIS CREATION!!!

That night I had to get Mr. FiddleStix ready for the next morning! I decided to make boots for Mr. FiddleStix out of dollar bills!! Found that idea on the internet.

I also had to get Dono's stockings ready, Saint Nick came that night as well....he had a very good morning to say the least when he woke up!!

So the morning of the 6th Dono woke up to a bunch of stuff, stuffed his stockings with candy, paints, different activities to do, puzzles and stuffed animals.

The next day our friend Danielle came over and brought baby Brady, finally, first time we got to see him since he was born last month!! He's growing so fast but oh so tiny still!!!!

Dono was super happy to get to spend time with cousin Brady and even got to hold him and give him kisses, he loved that!!

The next night I peaked in our bedroom and caught Dono acting silly like always!

Couple nights after that, caught him acting silly again. Playing with his favorite stuffed elephant.

That weekend I went out for my best friend and Dono's godmother (Nora's) bday. Her 25th! We had a blast, went downtown, hung with good friends and let loose.

The next morning, sombody woke up with silly hair....take a guess who!!

On Nora's actually birthday we went out for a drink to celebrate....she had to get on the pole!

It's Christmas Eve, after working a half day we headed over to Erik's grandma's house for dinner with the family and to open presents.

Dono got so much stuff, trains, toys, clothes, money, candy and even a brand new TV for his bedroom! After opening gifts, we had to take our family pictures. Erik's grandma always has a big list of pictures she wants to take. Here are our family pictures.

We then went home with two carloads of stuff, mind you Erik and I drove seperately. We then put Dono to bed and had to get our presents under the tree for Dono from Santa.

Christmas Day morning, Dono got to see that Santa and his reindeer ate the carrots and cookies he had left out for them. He was so excited, then he got to open all his gifts.

And even more presents.......took forever!

After presents, we got ready to go to my Grandma's house for dinner and presents for Xmas Day. We took some family pictures, ate some good food and had some good company.

Erik and I never take good pictures, this just proves why. He always has his eyes closed.

Then we took family pictures, since we never get one for the 4 generations, Erik operated the camera, most of the pictures had my head cut off. I love Dono's look in the first one.

Mom also brought her new puppy, Ruby...she's a sweetheart.

We got Dono a bunch of games for Christmas so the next couple of nights we decided to have family game night. It was so much fun!

Dono ended up winning, Cooties, I came in second and Daddy....didn't even get anything, not even a head or a body....he was salty.

The next night we played Hi-Ho Cherrio, Daddy won the first game and he def had to show that off since he completely failed at playing the night before.

Then Dono got mad that daddy was winning so he started crying.....poor kid :)

The next night Dono colored a picture for grandma Tracy whose 40th birthday was the following day!

On my mom's birthday, the 29th we went out to celebrate her turning the big 4-0!! Happy Birthday Mom....Love u!!
